**JNI Committee Holds First Meeting of 2012, Sets Plans for Annual Dues and December Gathering**



The JNI Committee convened for its inaugural meeting of the year this evening at 8:30 PM, led by Amin Musa Kawiyu. The session, which began with an opening prayer by Azeez Tairu, the Admin outlined key objectives for the organization, including the appointment of executive members, a proposed annual membership fee, and plans for an end-of-year gathering.

**Executive Roles Defined**

During the meeting, Lamidi Sheriffdeen introduced the proposed structure for the committee's leadership. Ten roles were nominated, including Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, PRO, and other key support positions. Following deliberations, the group selected the following individuals to serve in these roles for the upcoming term:

*Treasurer/Chairlady*: Yekini Bilikis 

*Secretary*: Salau Raheem 

*Event Manager*: Haruna Kemi 

*Community service coordinator*: Funke Adeoti

- *Director of members welfare/wellness*: Adeogini Aishat

*Entertainment Officer*: Azeez Tairu 

*Vice Event Manager*: Tosin Adebayo

**Membership Dues Set at 2,000 Naira**

To support this year’s activities, members will be required to pay an annual membership fee of 2,000 naira. This amount was set to fund the committee’s various projects and events, with the possibility of adjusting the fee in the future based on feedback from members.

**December Program Announcement**

The committee also discussed plans for a December gathering, aimed at bringing members together for a prayer session and end-of-year celebration. The event will be held locally for those who can attend in person. The committee will finalize the program details in an upcoming meeting, depending on the funds raised through membership dues.

The meeting concluded with members expressing optimism about the direction and goals set for the upcoming year. The next meeting date will be announced shortly, focusing on finalizing arrangements for the December event.

The blog, structured as a news-style website, will serve as a central repository where detailed reports and summaries of JNI meetings will be posted immediately after each session. The new blog is designed to make meeting minutes easily accessible and user-friendly. Members can now navigate through reports by category, date, or key topics, ensuring quick access to specific information. Each report is presented in a news article format, detailing essential points of discussion, decisions made, and action items from each meeting. JNI Committee Holds Second meeting Today

The JNI 2012 Reconnect committees holds their Second meeting on the 10th November,2024. The general meeting was held on Whatsapp group to foster engagement among members and encourage payment of annual dues. The session began with an opening prayer led by Abdulrasheed Saliman. During the meeting, members present took the opportunity to greet one another, strengthen connections, and emphasize the importance of supporting each other. The PRO addressed the matter of annual dues, highlighting the importance of timely payments and noting that some members had already fulfilled their commitments. Members were encouraged to make their payments promptly to support group activities. The PRO also mentioned the presence of new members and encouraged everyone to welcome and support them. Finally, Abdulrasheed Olayemi reminded members to check in on each other regularly to maintain the unity and well-being of the group.
